X SPORTS&LIVING PTY LTD (ABN 21 678 776 755), trading as X sports & Living ("we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

• Contact details: name, email, phone number, postcode and delivery address.
• Order details: products purchased, delivery method, order history and payment status.
• Enquiries and messages you send us, including messages typed into our chat assistant.
• Technical and usage data, such as pages visited and device or browser type.

Card details are entered directly with our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

How we use your information

• to process orders, arrange delivery or installation and provide after-sales support;
• to respond to enquiries and quote requests;
• to send order confirmations and service emails;
• to improve our website and services; and
• to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We only send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed with service providers who help us run the business, including:

• Stripe (payment processing);
• Supabase (database and file storage) and Vercel (website hosting and analytics);
• Resend (email delivery);
• our AI chat provider (processing messages you send to the chat assistant); and
• freight and installation partners (name, address and phone number for delivery).

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle your information appropriately. Please do not put sensitive personal information into the chat assistant.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use website analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep order records for as long as required for tax and legal purposes, and delete or de-identify other information when it is no longer needed.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing sales@xsportsliving.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
